Well, Well, Well. It’s 2005!

Hey, look! It says 2005. I know, I haven’t posted in a while– sorry about that, and happy (late) new year! This new year will hold many things to come: more One Piece episodes, more cool songs to listen to, more good DJ livesets, more StarCraft, WarCraft, and UT2k4 gaming, more swimming, more DDR, more homework and studying…, more photos, and lastly, more blog entries!

But… what have I been doing since my last entry? Well, we’ve had relatives over and the classical New Year’s Eve party. Generally, my Christmas break was lots of fun. In fact, I have more photos from Hawaii ready to put up here, and you’ll see them soon!

Aside from break, I’ve started working on a discussion community Slashdot-style for friends to use, since my message board (macroz.net) has pretty much died (except Word Association). That is, there is close to zero activity on there. Hopefully a discussion site will generate more discussion, as people post their thoughts on late news and maybe even debate.

As for the music aspect of things, lately, A State of Trance 181, the Top 20 Tunes of the Year in 2004 episode, was on December 30. I’m not going to bother to post the tracklist here, but it was somewhat disappointing since many good tracks from the first half of the year had been forgotten, Above & Beyond - No One on Earth (Gabriel & Dresden Remix) somehow topped Whiteroom - The White Room as #1, and Tiesto’s Adagio for Strings somehow made it to #3. What tracks did they not include (it’s the voters’ faults) that should have been there? Signum - The Timelord, Robert Nickson - Spiral, Vadim Zhukov - Exit, Nickelson - Yin, Nu-NRG - Free Fall.. and this last one is debatable since this song is way underrated (not enough attention for such a brilliant track!): MK-S - Illuminate (Mind One Remix). ASOT 182, the 2004 Megamix, was really cool, though…

Mugiwara Kaizoku-dan

As for this paragraph… what have I to say about episode 126 of One Piece that was released this past Friday by Kaizoku-Fansubs? Amazing. Awesome. …and that’s it. No other spoilers for you. ;D

School is also now in full swing once again, but I have the opportunity to post at this moment because it’s Martin Luther King Day! Thanks MLK– not only for your civil rights leadership, but also for a break from school!

So anyway, maybe you’ve been waiting for photos from Hawaii… Here they are.
