The Year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Eight

Happy 2008! I’m sure everyone has a lot of expectations and goals about the coming year. I certainly do, so I’d like to wish everyone good luck in attaining their decided ambitions.

In any case, remember that time I discussed that The Pirate Bay took over IFPI.com since someone friendly to their cause donated the domain to them? Well, since then, the World Intellectual Property Organization has ordered TPB to return the domain, which they decided to do, since there didn’t seem to be a good chance of fighting for it after that point. Well, it was fun while it lasted… haha.

On another note, hopefully, I’ll get around to writing nice, unnecessarily long articles for everyone to read (or not read) sometime soon.

  1. Why is everyone calling 2008 “THE YEAR OF OUR LORD.” I keep hearing all of these radio people saying This is the year of our Lord 2008. Please email me and let me know why they are saying that.

  2. to mcnba: 2008 is formally 2008 A.D. And A.D. stands for Ano Domino, which, I believe is Latin for “Year of Our Lord”
