About fifteen minutes ago, I was taking pictures of the early morning. It is about 6:15AM right now, and yes, I woke up pretty early. It really is a lot brighter outside now, after I took these pictures.

Aside from pictures, Tiesto spun live at the Olympics Opening Ceremony for Athens 2004 on Friday-Saturday night. I heard the American broadcast for the ceremony stated that Tiesto is Greek– ahaha! No, Tiesto is indeed not Greek. He’s a Dutchman from the Netherlands! I’m sure the athletes from the Netherlands thought it was pretty cool, having their most famous DJ spinning for the Olympics. Yes, they all know who he is– much better than the American commentators do! A Dutch guy from Gamingforce told me that everyone knows who Tiesto is in his country; apparently, even his grandmother knows!
The broadcast in Hong Kong wasn’t that bad, I guess. Well, I was watching the World channel. The commentators would speak sometimes, but there would be room for hearing the “background music” that was Tiesto’s mix. I pulled this tracklist from tranceaddict:

I need to find this set for download somewhere. Not even sure if anyone recorded the set. I have the broadcast recorded on tape, but that doesn’t count.
It was pretty funny since everyone was clapping to the beat. Some athletes jumped to it. Many athletes did the V with one or two of their hands. You know, V for Victoly.
Also, this past week I bought Tiesto’s Just Be (the two-cd Asian release by Avex Trax) and In My Memory (the two-cd French release by Independant). Just Be was HK$110, and In My Memory was HK$30 for the summer sale. (The latter was really cheap!)
